Meet Dr. Tara

Hello!

Dr. Tara Williams is an educator, author, speaker, and the Founder of Innovative Collegiate Consultants (ICC). A tenured professor with more than 20 years of experience in higher education, she holds a Ph.D. in Synthetic Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Sussex and has spent the last 15 years supporting neurodivergent students as they transition to college and beyond.

Through conference presentations, professional development workshops, media appearances, and her work with students and families nationwide, Dr. Williams shares practical strategies for executive functioning, self-advocacy, accessibility, and student success. She is also the author of The Neurodivergent Student Journey: Breaking Out of the Box, a guide to understanding and supporting neurodivergent learners in higher education.
